Emergency care for minor injuries and illnesses is available at the UrgiCare Center at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital O’Fallon Medical Building at 1512 N. Green Mount Road and at St. Elizabeth's Hospital Monroe County Medical Building at 9538 Caring Way, Columbia, Illinois. Staffed by an emergency-trained physicians and registered nurses, the Centers are open daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.; no appointment necessary.
UrgiCare is intended for those with minor medical problems. Persons with serious medical problems like chest pain or major trauma should seek medical attention at the hospital’s emergency room.
