We offer many specialized programs to our patients. Our skilled therapists have received additional training to maximize your treatment session.

Insurance
Before your first visit, our staff checks with your private insurance company or worker’s compensation to verify coverage. St. Elizabeth's Hospital will bill your insurance company directly once coverage is approved.

Hours
Outpatient Therapy is available with convenient evening and weekend hours to best fit your schedule. Please contact individual clinic for hours.

PHYSICAL THERAPY
Our physical therapists help patients recover from injuries, disease and post-surgical symptoms. Using state-of-the-art equipment, our skilled physical therapists help patients restore self-confidence by increasing strength and mobility, decreasing pain and expanding overall function. We are a McKenzie Certified Provider with therapists trained to treat a variety of spinal disorders. We offer specialized services for:

  • sports injuries
  • lymphedema
  • incontinence
  • pelvic floor pain
  • vestibular/balance disorders
  • pediatric disorders

OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY
Our occupational therapists help patients of all ages who have physical, developmental, emotional and social needs. Through rehabilitation, we teach the skills they need to lead independent and productive lives. Our therapists help patients rebuild motor skills and relearn the activities of daily living, such as feeding, bathing, grooming and cooking. Treatment may include instruction in the use of splints and adaptive equipment. Occupational  therapists also help patients and their families make adjustments to their homes that best meet any special needs. Our OT’s also treat upper extremity disorders including diagnoses associated with the arm and hand. A Certified Hand Therapist is available at our outpatient clinic for specialized hand injury cases.

SPEECH THERAPY
Our speech therapists treat patients of all ages who have problems with speech, language, hearing or swallowing. They can also strengthen a patient’s ability to read and write, recall information, organize and express thoughts, and use problem-solving skills. Special programs are available to children and those who have hearing loss.

AUDIOLOGY
The Audiology Department at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital provides diagnostic hearing evaluations for patient of all ages, from newborns to senior citizens. The department accepts many forms of private and state payors, including the Division of Specialized Care for Children and Early Intervention.
