Delivering Miracles and caring for their moms
St. Elizabeth’s Hospital has been delivering babies for more than 134 years. We are the hospital of choice for those who desire a family-centered maternity experience with the added assurance of a specialized staff and advanced equipment for any special needs that may arise.
From the individualized care we provide for mother and baby, to the educational programs we offer expecting families, we offer a wide range of resources, services and special touches to celebrate your delivery, including:
Labor and delivery
The Mother-Child Services department at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital provides quality care to pregnant women and their families throughout the birthing process. Our anesthesia providers are available 24 hours a day to provide epidural placement and other pain management, as needed. After you and your closest loved ones have welcomed your new baby in your private labor, delivery and recovery room, you will be transferred to your Mother-Child post-partum room. We encourage rooming in for you and your baby. Dads are encouraged to stay as well!
Welcoming the new arrival
A diverse team, including a childbirth educator, clinical resource nurse and certified car seat technician are available to you after the birth of your baby. Our maternity nurses are skilled at helping new moms learn how to breastfeed, and when extra help is needed, our lactation consultants can provide extra support. We smooth the transition to home with individualized instruction and a customized education program, including educational videos you can view in the privacy of your room.
Delivering Miracles Program — Let St. Elizabeth's Mother Child Center provide a personalized program for you and your new arrival. The Delivering Miracles Program offers:
