St. Elizabeth’s Hospital offers a wide range of inpatient and outpatient programs for adults suffering from mental health problems or drug/alcohol dependency.
Under the supervision of psychiatrists, our team of professionals provide programs tailored to meet our patients’ individual needs. Our goal is to help our patients regain their optimal level of functioning and restore a healthy balance to their lives. Because these illnesses affect entire families, we offer education and support services to family members as well.
Our behavioral healthcare services include:
- Inpatient mental health
- Inpatient detox
- Alcohol and drug dependency treatment programs
- Intensive day programs for mental health and addictions
- Intensive evening outpatient programs for mental health and addictions
- Family education on mental health and addictions

Behavioral Healthcare Evaluation Center
In January 2008, St. Elizabeth’s Hospital added a Behavioral Healthcare Evaluation Center to its many services available to the community. The goal of the Behavioral Healthcare Evaluation Center is to provide caring, professional treatment to adult patients and families with addictions and mental health problems.
Patients suffering from depression, anxiety, thoughts of suicide, alcohol or drugs can be evaluated by a counselor at the Evaluation Center. The counselor will determine what level of treatment is needed to create a healthier balance in the patient’s life. Individuals requiring admission to Inpatient or Outpatient treatment programs will be admitted. Those needing individual, marital or family therapy will be referred to a professional in the community.
The office is located on the hospital’s main floor in Room 2300 and will be open from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. There is no charge for the initial evaluation.
