Recycle for Earth Day at HSHS St. Elizabeth's Recycling and Collection Drive, April 22 & 23

April 22 is Earth Day and it is a perfect time to reflect on what you are doing to help protect the environment. Everyone shares the responsibility to do as much as they can to preserve the planet’s natural resources today and for future generations. One of the ways is to recycle, and St. Elizabeth’s is making that easier for you by hosting a Recycling Event and Collection Drive for clothing, shoes and electronics on April 22 and 23.


HSHS St. Elizabeth’s Hospital to Host Blood Drive, April 26

(Belleville, IL) – HSHS St. Elizabeth’s Hospital, in conjunction with the Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center (MVRBC), is hosting a blood drive on Tuesday, April 26, in the Millennium Room from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Convenient parking is available just outside the Prairie Heart Institute Building (Bldg. A) at 340 West Lincoln Street.

HSHS St. Elizabeth’s Hospital encourages the public to take a free Diabetes Risk Test on Tuesday, March 22 in support of American Diabetes Association Alert Day. This nationally recognized day is a “wake-up call” asking the American public to take a one-minute Diabetes Risk Test to find out if they are at risk for developing type 2 diabetes. Free program offered to help smokers quit

“Freedom From Smoking” program offered free of charge by The Cancer Treatment Center and HSHS St. Elizabeth’s Hospital. HSHS St. Elizabeth’s Hospital and The Cancer Treatment Center have partnered to offer a FREE smoking cessation program to those in our community who want to put their health first and quit smoking. The “Freedom From Smoking” program is now accepting participants in this 8-week course.
