Residency Program at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital
 

Belleville, IL - A graduation ceremony was held on Friday, June 21 for 14 physicians in the Saint Louis University Family Medicine Residency Program at St. Elizabeth's Hospital. St. Elizabeth's is privileged to be a teaching  hospital for the SLU program and wish the very best to all the graduates on their future endeavors. Graduates were noted and thanked for their dedication and commitment to providing high quality care to over 10,000 patients during the three year program. They also were commended for exhibiting the core values of respect, care, competence and joy.     
 

The 2013 graduates include:

• Jessica (Day) Grimes, M.D. - Saint Louis University School of Medicine
• Captain Adam D. Hebdon, D.O. - Touro University Nevada School of Osteopathic Medicine
• Armida A. Hidalgo, M.D. - University of Santo Tomas College of Medicine and Surgery
• Major Joseph A Huseman II, M.D. - Uniformed Services University of Health and Sciences
• Captain Alecia R. Hutsler, D.O. - Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine
• Major Christy (Tran) Kleinke, D.O. - Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences
• Aaron R. Lloyd, M.D. - Drexel University College of Medicine
• Mehrdad A. Mansouri, M.D. - Albany Medical College
• Adam P. Pasternak, D.O. - Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine

Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Shelly Harkins, presented Dr. Steven Taylor with the 2013 Franciscan Spirit Award. The award, which was developed last year, recognizes a Resident who truly lives the Mission of St. Francis and the Hospital Sisters, and best exemplifies the Core Values of Respect, Care, Competence and Joy. 


“Over 90 nominations were collected from clinical staff and other colleagues, who have worked with the residents during their residency to determine this year's recipient”, noted Dr. Harkins. “St. Elizabeth’s Hospital has been privileged to work with all of the graduating physicians and we wish them the best of luck in their future endeavors.”
