From downtown St. Louis, take I-64 (US40) over the river, continuing on I-64 to I-255 South (Memphis). Take I-255 south to IL15. From south St. Louis County, take I-270 over the river in the Jefferson Barracks Bridge. (I-270 becomes I-255 in Illinois.) Exit I-255 at IL15. Both: Take IL15 east to Belleville, exiting at IL158 (Centreville Ave.). Turn left on Centreville Ave., and you will see the hospital (a complex of large tan brick buildings) on your right in about a mile. You will be behind the hospital.
From the East or South, take I-64 to I-255. From the North, take I-70 or I-270 to I-255. Both: Take I-255 south to IL15. Then, take IL15 east to Belleville. Exit at IL158 (Centreville Ave), and turn left. The hospital is about one mile on Centreville Ave., and will be on your right. You will be behind the hospital.
St. Elizabeth's can also be reached by exiting I-64 on IL159 (Fairview Heights exit), and driving south until you come to the Belleville public square. The distance is several miles. The hospital is two blocks south and three blocks west of the square. We discourage this route, however, because it requires driving several miles through heavy traffic, and may take longer than the other routes.
