St. Elizabeth’s Hospital offers a wide range of inpatient and outpatient programs for adults suffering from mental health problems or alcohol dependency.
Under the supervision of psychiatrists, our team of professionals provides programs tailored to meet our patients’ individual needs. Our goal is to help our patients regain their optimum level of functioning and restore a healthy balance to their lives. Because these illnesses affect entire families, we offer referrals, education and support services to family members as well.

The goal of the Behavioral Healthcare Assessment Center is to provide a caring, professional initial assessment to adult patients with addiction and mental health problems, with the goal of connection to the appropriate level of services.
Patients suffering from depression, anxiety, thoughts of suicide, alcohol or drugs can be assessed by a counselor, and referred for the appropriate level of care. The counselor will determine what level of treatment is needed to create a healthier balance in the patient’s life. Individuals requiring admission to Inpatient or Outpatient treatment programs will be directed to appropriate programs for admission. Those needing individual, marital or family therapy will be referred to a professional in the community, or an appropriate mental health agency that can best meet the needs of the individual or family.
