PRN employee: An employee who works on an as needed basis.

Employees receive flex credits to help pay for the benefits they choose. Flex credits are determined by budgeted hours and rate of pay.

Health Care Spending Account

Before taxes, employees may allocate payroll deduction for reimbursement of health care expenses not covered by a medical or dental plan.

Before taxes, employees may allocate payroll deduction for reimbursement of dependent care expenses.

 

EyeMed Vision Care Program

At no cost to the employee, offers employees and immediate family members savings on eye care needs (e.g. eye exams, frames, lenses, and contacts).

Paid Time Off (PTO)

Accrued time off based on hours paid.
0-4 years: Max 24 days/year
5-10 years: Max 29 days/year
11 years: Max 30 days/year
12 years: Max 31 days/year
13 years: Max 32 days/year
14 years: Max 33 days/year
15+ years: Max 34 days/year

After 3 months (Budgeted 16+ hours per pay period)  

PTO Cash-In

Non-management staff can cash in PTO per current hospital policy. 8 hour minimum, annual maximum 40 hours.

Extended Illness Benefit (EIB)

1 day accrued per 260 hours paid. Maximum accrual of 130 days. (No EIB time is accrued on paid EIB time.)
