More than 30 health insurance plans have designated St. Elizabeth’s Hospital as a preferred provider for their enrollees. Insurance card
When you arrive at the hospital, be prepared to have your insurance card and a photo ID, such as a driver’s license, military ID or government-issued ID.
Insurance plans
St. Elizabeth’s Hospital participates in most major insurance plans. As a precaution, you may wish to confirm that both your physician and the hospital are listed as participating providers with your insurance plan. Many insurance companies, in fact, require you to notify them prior to your hospital stay.
St. Elizabeth’s Hospital will also make every effort to notify your insurance company that you are a patient here and obtain any necessary authorizations. For more information on your insurance plan’s coverage or authorization requirements, we recommend that you or a family member contact your insurance company directly.
