Ostomy Support Group

Meetings are open to ostomates, their families and friends. Members of the medical profession are also welcome to attend the meetings. Meetings are informal but structured. Educational and social programs are planned according to the needs and wishes expressed by the members. A health care professional is in attendance at each meeting, as well.

Why should I attend?

The monthly meetings enable ostomates to share their experiences. Group members help provide reassurance and emotional support to the ostomate’s family and other caregivers. An exchange of ideas between ostomates and families is encouraged.
