Belleville Health Center

Our Commitment to Belleville, and the entire Metro East Region.

Our plans for the Belleville campus of HSHS St. Elizabeth’s are to re-envision it to become Belleville Health Center. We are dedicated to keeping services and jobs in Belleville. St. Elizabeth’s is working with the City of Belleville, the Mayor, and other organizations to make the Belleville campus an asset to the community and the patients we serve.

The Belleville campus will continue to offer:
•    A same-day ambulatory clinic,
•    Physical, occupational and Back to Work therapy,
•    Radiology and laboratory services,
•    Southern Illinois Health Foundation clinic,
•    Grace Women’s Health,
•    Belleville Family Medical Associates, and
•    Primary care physicians’ and health care specialists’ offices.

Many jobs will stay in Belleville. They include:
•    Southern Illinois Division central business offices,
•    Marketing and communications,
•    Staff education,
•    Information technology, and Purchasing.

It is estimated that over 275 jobs will remain on the Belleville campus.

St. Elizabeth’s will not leave an abandoned structure. If, after careful discernment, it is deemed that the current building should come down, St. Elizabeth’s will provide the resources to mitigate any environmental concerns and to ensure the safety of our neighbors.
